Hello My friends,

Big Kevin here, long time security and roadie for bay area bands, such as Jerry Garcia, the Keystone family, Santana, Jefferson Airplane/Starship, Bob Weir (Ratdog), Metallica, Journey, and others like Phish, the Allman Brothers, Gov't Mule, New Riders, DSO, as well as for Bill Graham, Melvin Seals-JGB, 15 years for JK shows, and "Rsms Head Live" in Baltimore.

Unfortunately, while on tour a few months ago, I suffered serious injuries when heavy road case rolled on my foot, while going down a 200 foot cement ramp. I continued to work, not realizing how bad it was. 5 shows later, the pain got so bad, I decided I had to go to the hospital.

There I was told I had a serious blood infection, resulting in having two of my toes amputated. Then due to blood thinner, I developed internal stomach bleeding, requiring two blood transfusion, and stomach surgery while I was in hospital.

It has been a few months now, and I am still facing months of recovery, in need of a home nursing assistant, figuring more possible surgeries, but more so, being able to have money to eat, as well aa pay for rent, is becoming incredibly difficult.
