Support Kevin's Journey to Overcome Childhood Cancer

My name is Kelly Hughes and I’m raising funds to help someone very close to me, 10 year old Kevin Green III, with his fight against cancer. In late April of this year Kevin began to complain of a Charlie horse type pain in his left leg. Up until this point he was a typical, fun loving, active 10 year old boy. On April 28th he had an MRI at Geisinger Wyoming Valley and was immediately sent to the Janet Weiss Children’s Hospital in Danville, PA. He has been diagnosed with stage 4 Rhabdomyosarcoma which is a very aggressive pediatric cancer. The main tumor is in his left leg but it has metastasized. He has several more tumors in his body and emergency surgery was performed on May 1st to remove one from his lower spine and tailbone. Due to this surgery and the tumor in his leg Kevin is unable to feel his bladder and he can no longer walk. His chemo and radiation regimen began on May 7th. Kevin is in for a long haul ahead. His world has been turned upside down. Kevin’s parents have been unable to work because of his hospitalization. Also his insurance will not cover everything that he needs including a PET scan. I am asking for any donation so that we may get Kevin any care that he needs and to help support his parents in this time of need.
