Hey everyone, My name is Kevin. I’m 24 years old, and as you can imagine, I’m going through a really difficult time. I was born with congenital heart defects and had to undergo open heart surgery when I was about 7 months old. The surgery helped for a bit but eventually things took a turn for the worst. I now suffer from heart failure. I work two jobs to make ends meet but beyond my medical expenses I also have to deal with a debt that was never supposed to be my burden to carry. To keep it short, I dealt with family issues prior to my diagnosis that no doubt played a role in leading me to this point. I do what I can with the help of my girlfriend and friends but things just keep piling up, so I’m trying my luck here. Anything I can do to help lift myself out of this hole is worth attempting.
