My name is Lisa Koonce and I am trying to raise funds to help Kevin Cadman and his family navigate this time.

During the last year, Kevin has suffered from several medical issues. He had to have an unexpected gallbladder, and then after that, he had complications and needed more surgery. During this time, Kevin has been off work many days to recuperate.

Since about September of 2024, Kevin has been having lots of bouts of being unable to eat and swallow, to throwing up after eating. It has taken this long for them to figure out what is going on. Kevin is suffering from Esophageal Cancer. It has made him literally unable to eat anything that isn’t liquid. This appears to be a fast-moving cancer, so they are working to figure things out quickly. The third week of April 2025, he will be going for a PET Scan at Barnes Jewish Hospital and will also be seeing a surgeon to see what the course of action will be.

This is already starting to cost for traveling, hotel, food for traveling, and gas, not to mention time off work.

This man and his family never know a stranger and will always reach out his hand to help anyone.
