Support My Dad's Fight Against Cancer

My name is Kevin Lepola and this not easy for me but I am starting this GoFundMe page to raise money to help my dad afford both medical costs that are about to come his way, as well as any other expenses that he'll incur while he is fighting this new battle that has been thrown his way.



My dad was recently diagnosed with rectal & bladder cancer. At the end of March, I flew down to see him after he was hospitalized for being the sickest I’ve ever seen him. We did not know what was wrong and it was not till this visit to the hospital that he found out he had Type 1 diabetes and was experiencing ketoacidosis. He had lost lots of weight and was very weak. Once he got out of the hospital, he went through weeks of trying to get himself back to his normal strength and weight while adjusting to all the new ins and outs of life with diabetes. Unfortunately, that caused him to use up all his PTO time at work. He went back to work but it was not long till he was back in the hospital. He received a colonoscopy at the end of May and that’s when the results threw a curveball in our lives, especially my dad’s. The news is very fresh and we don’t have all the answers yet but with this diagnosis, we know that appointments, treatments, and more time off work is on the horizon — and with that time and money are needed. Any financial gift you can give is deeply appreciated (no amount is too small!) and will allow my dad to put all his energy into this fight. For those who know him, he is one stubborn son of a gun who is known to not ever ask for help but this one time, please help in any way you can!
