Support Kevin through his spinal fusion

My sister Allison and her husband, Kevin have been going through a very difficult time trying to find the cause to his undiagnosed chronic pain for years. In early 2022 the pain became debilitating. As a result Kevin could no longer work. After months of meeting with doctors, in July he had an FAI impingement and had surgery to repair the impingement as well as a labrial tear in hopes to resolve the pain. Unfortunately, the surgery made the pain much worse and after months of physical therapy with symptoms worsening his hip surgeon told them that he needed to see a spine specialist. After failed epidurals, failed progress with physical therapy, several spine doctors he was finally diagnosed with a mobile fracture at his L5 S1 lumbar region and spondylolisthesis.

The only solution at this point is a spinal fusion. The savings have dwindled, they sold their home in California to rent in Colorado and see surgeons better equipped to help Kevin. The medical expenses have surpassed what they could have ever planned for or imagined.

My brother in law has been suffering, all he thinks about and deals with all day is debilitating pain. For someone who has always lit up any room, helped those in need, been a part of social and family events, the last thing we want them to fear with everything going on is if they will be able to afford what is needed to survive day to day. This has been absolutely devastating to watch this young couple that was working so hard towards the next chapter of their life come to a screeching halt because he can't be out of bed for more than 20 minutes at a time.
