On Christmas Eve, during what should have been a joyous family dinner, our beloved Kevin —Master Instructor at CycleBar, Orange Theory coach, and high school color guard instructor—experienced a sudden and life-threatening heart attack. His heart stopped, and in that terrifying moment, we thought we had lost him. By some miracle, Kevin is still here, and we are endlessly grateful.

At just 29, Kevin’s heart attack has left us in shock. Always the picture of health and dedicated to fitness, he now faces ongoing studies to determine the cause and ensure his recovery. While Kevin has recently been moved out of the ICU, his journey is far from over, and he continues to need monitoring and support.

Kevin’s humor, motivational spirit, and national impact as a fitness professional have touched countless lives. Now, it’s our turn to support him as he focuses on healing.

Kevin’s care has included a need for specialized procedure to implant an ICD (implantable cardioverter defibrillator) to regulate his heart, along with ongoing studies and follow-ups.
