Hi, I'm Kevin Ozoa. Some of you are good friends of mine, or you may be friends with my father Rochel(Ricci)Ozoa .

It pains me to even be sitting here trying to muster up the words to describe the profound feelings of my father passing away. He somehow was able to move to the US, join the US navy and raise two great children. But he always wanted to move back home and enjoy his retirement in the Philippines. He decided that he wanted to try to retire early at the age of 62 and try to carve out his dream of having a farm back in his hometown, only to be cut short by the age of 63 by a stroke. I can only imagine the helplessness he felt when he had a stroke and could not get up to call for help until he was found by a caretaker and taken to the hospital to be resuscitated multiple times while his family was on the other side of the world from him.

Now, for those of you who know me, I had just started a new job after working only part-time for the past 6 months. So I don't even have bereavement leave because they will just push back my start date a couple of weeks. I had spent that time using my emergency funds to keep me afloat. But hey, death does not abide by schedules or when it's good for you. I wish I could be able to help out my family as much as I can, but I'm only one man. But I hope in my family's time of need, you can help out and hope that I have provided you some value in your life as you have in mine.
Proceeds will go into paying for plane tickets and funeral in the Philippines.
