In Memory of Kevin Mueller, Help Support Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
If your children attended English Landing Elementary (Kansas City|Parkville, MO) from 2004 through 2014, they probably benefitted from the generosity of the Kevin & Jean Mueller family. The Muellers generously donated their time, talents, and treasures to support teachers and students with their knowledge (tech wizardry) of Apple technology. They brought their Mac Books and iPads to classrooms and used educational games to help and mentor students in math and reading. Jean served on the PTA and spent several days a week helping out teachers and in the classrooms.
And now, the Muellers need our support...
In the fall of 2021, Kevin Mueller was diagnosed with Colon Cancer.
He spent three months in the hospital (ICU and rehab) until he was able to come home, with the knowledge his cancer had progressed to Stage 4 and had spread to other organs.
The Muellers are thankful for the many times since his diagnosis when Kevin received unexpected miracles extending his life. He survived surgery after his colon ruptured, and then he survived another surgery within a few months after returning home, a surgery that doctors never thought he would be able to tolerate and that resulted in the removal of his spleen and parts of other organs.
Currently, Kevin's tumors have become resistant to chemotherapy. The tumors are still growing in size and are metastasizing. There is one more regimen he could do, but it would only increase his survival rate by two months. The side effects of this last-chance treatment would be debilitating, but he is resolved to fight, even though he has opted to forgo treatment and live out the rest of his life without the chemotherapy.
After three years of surgeries and chemotherapy, Kevin has a prognosis of less than a year left to fight this battle. Would you please support Kevin and his family with your prayers and donations?
Since 1995, Kevin supported his family with his graphic arts company, x2 Creative. He has not been able to work since his diagnosis, and because he is self-employed, most of his medical care has not been covered. His family is in dire need of your support and contributions.
