Kevin is a long-time friend who has faced more than his share of challenges. Living with cerebral palsy, blindness, and seizures, he has always tried to make the best of his situation. Despite being an educated and determined individual, Kevin has struggled to find employment, as his disabilities are often seen as a liability. He lives on the bare minimum, doing his best to get by each day. One of the most inspiring things about Kevin is that, regardless of his ailments, he still finds joy in playing guitar, letting music bring light into his life and the lives of those around him.

Recently, Kevin’s situation has become even more difficult. His stepdad, who has been his primary caregiver for years, is now sick himself. Before falling ill, Kevin’s stepdad had started an addition to their house to make it safer and more comfortable for Kevin, but he was unable to finish the work. Now, the unfinished addition and the lack of support have left Kevin in a vulnerable position, with urgent needs for repairs and daily living assistance. On top of these challenges, Kevin is estranged from his mother and his twin brother, which means he has very little family support to rely on during this difficult time.
