Kevin Hinahon, a beloved colleague and friend at Vendasta, has been an integral part of our team.

Originally from the Philippines, Kevin came to Canada as an international student to pursue his dreams. After completing his studies, he transitioned to a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP), determined to build a brighter future here. However, on September 18th, Kevin received a government-issued stop-work notice due to an unexpected administrative issue with his work permit application. This has left him unable to work or receive pay for the past two months, with no clear timeline for resolution.

As Kevin awaits answers, he is facing mounting financial challenges and struggling to cover basic living expenses. While Vendasta is eager to support him, federal regulations prevent the company from providing financial assistance during this time.

This fundraiser is our way to come together and help Kevin through these tough times. Every donation will go directly toward covering his living expenses, ensuring he can stay afloat until this issue is resolved.
