Support Kevin Hickman in His Fight Against Cancer

Dear friends, classmates and community members,

You might not know that Kevin's currently in a tough battle against cancer, and we want to rally around him during this challenging time.

Kevin’s not just a dedicated single dad and small business owner in Twisp, he's a dear friend.

The financial burden has become overwhelming, and we believe that together, we can help alleviate some of that stress so he can focus on his health and recovery over the next few months.

We’re Establishing a goal at this moment of 10k to help cover him for the next few months while he cannot work and has no income. The shop is for sale at present and he doesn’t anticipate being able to go back to the same work.

Kevin shared during a recent visit the profound exhaustion that comes with fighting this disease. “Each treatment is a reminder of the fragility of life. Some days it kicks my ass and my body feels like it’s at war with itself, brutal. Other days are a mix of intense feelings and emotions. Yet once in a while, I wake up and have what seems like a completely normal day and I’m grateful to be alive. With God’s grace, I won’t be granted an early exit.”

Our goal is to raise funds to cover monthly living expenses, allowing the Hickman family to maintain a sense of stability and comfort allowing him to focus on irradiating the cancer.
