June 2026 Update: Kevin has been diagnosed with ATRT (atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumor) - a rare and aggressive cancer usually found in children. He is currently undergoing treatment. He will need multiple stem cell transplants using his own stem cells, 6 weeks of radiation, and 4-6 rounds of chemotherapy. He will be in the hospital for two weeks each round. Kevin will be out of work for 7 to 8 months while he faces this battle, leaving Kendall to be the sole provider for the two of them. Kevin and Kendall’s wedding is postponed until 2027 as they focus on Kevin’s health and fighting together. Any donation big or small will help this couple with hospital bills, daily living expenses on one income, and gas (the hospital is an hour away).

Update: On February 11th, Kevin underwent his intensive brain surgery. We are incredibly relieved to share that the surgeons were able to remove the entire tumor. We are currently awaiting pathology results to better understand the next steps. Although the surgery was successful, Kevin faces a long and challenging recovery. He will be unable to work for the foreseeable future and will require frequent follow-up appointments with his medical team, along with ongoing physical and occupational therapy. We are deeply grateful for the continued support during this time as we focus on his healing and recovery.

We are creating this fundraiser to support two people who mean the world to us as they walk through an incredibly difficult and unexpected season of life. Recently, Kevin was diagnosed with a large brain tumor and is facing major surgery, followed by what will likely be a long and challenging recovery. As you can imagine, this has brought emotional, physical, and financial stress at a time that was meant to be filled with excitement and celebration.
In the midst of it all, Kendall has remained by his side as his constant support and advocate. These two are planning to get married this June, and while they are holding onto that joy, the reality of medical bills, time off work, and recovery expenses has made the months ahead feel overwhelming.
We’re hoping to ease some of that burden so they can focus on healing, staying strong together, and still looking forward to their wedding and future as a married couple. Any donation, big or small, will go directly toward medical expenses, daily living costs during recovery, and helping them stay on their feet during this uncertain time.
If you’re unable to give, sharing this page and keeping them in your thoughts means just as much. Thank you for surrounding them with love, support, and hope as they face surgery, recovery, and the journey ahead — hand in hand.
