Let’s Come Together for Kev

Kevin Johns MBE — ‘our Kev’ — has been the heart of Swansea for decades. Whether it’s the joy he brings to the panto stage, the warmth he sends across the airwaves, the booming voice of the Swans, or the quiet faith he shares within our community, Kev has always been there. He has given so much of himself, always showing up, always supporting others, and never asking for anything in return.

Now, Kev needs us.

After suffering a stroke, Kev now faces a period of recovery during which he’s unable to work — and this comes after already experiencing a challenging few years. Through it all, he has remained the same kind, generous, community‑minded man we all know and love. His incredible wife, Rosie, has been by his side every step of the way, offering strength, love, and unwavering support. Kev would want everyone to know just how much he adores her. Over the last few weeks, I’ve witnessed first‑hand the true meaning of marriage — Rosie there day and night, walking every part of this journey with him. This is something they are facing together,

This fundraiser is our chance to give back to someone who has spent his life giving to others. By easing the financial pressure on Kev and Rosie, we can help them focus fully on what matters most — his healing, his strength, and his journey back to health. We want Kev back doing what Kev does best - and he absolutely will be!! But he needs the space and freedom to heal properly first.
