Dear Supporter,
I am Kevin Jones, a PGCPS Information Technician, and I’m reaching out on behalf of Kettering Middle School Spanish Immersion to seek your support as we prepare for the summer internship of our Youth In Technology Club.
This summer, from June 23 rd to August 7 th , our Young Information Tech (YIT) is hosting a one-of-a-kind program – the only initiative of its kind in Prince George’s County Public Schools-where 15 dedicated middle schoolers will repair and prepare Chromebooks for the upcoming academic year.
The program will run Monday through Thursday, from 9a.m. to 2p.m., and gives students hands-on experience in technology while building student confidence, leadership, teamwork, responsibility, service skills.
