Hi, I'm Kesha. I'm a dedicated mother striving to provide a safe and stable life for my teenage daughter. Recently, 4/12/25, we faced a traumatic event when I was assaulted at work by an unknown man that threatened to kill me. He also threatened to rape my daughter when she came into the office. Despite acting in self-defense, I was terminated and given three days to vacate our home since I lived on the property as well. The police were called, and he was arrested for terroristic threat and trespassing. I have since filed charges against him. I was denied unemployment and am currently awaiting an appeal date and decision. I was approved to receive Crime Victim Compensation, and I am awaiting follow-up to find out the benefits granted for that.

Currently, we have no income or housing. I've secured a new job starting June 20th and have been approved for an apartment, but I need assistance covering moving costs, rent, and basic living expenses until then.
