Support Kesha's Journey After DV and Job Loss

Hello, my name is Kesha. I was previously a victim of DV back in March. Since then I was placed in therapy and misplaced from my job. I have currently been trying my best to get back on my feet. Everyday I’m up looking for work and living literally of my faith. I am currently behind on bills and is simply trying to keep a roof over my children’s head and to keep the only transportation we have. I have been working since the age of 15 so this will be the longest thus far without a job. I am seeking to raise just half of my rent because I do have someone willing to assist me with the other half and just needing to pay a few other bills before the month is out. This is very hard for me to do which is ask for help but right now I need help. I’ve been in the medical field since 2009 and I still can not find the job I qualify for. I worked at Duke Health since 2021 and was promoted to another position and that’s when my DV case occurred. I’m proud of myself for taking the steps to speak out because for a long time I didn’t. I have until the 18th of this month to at least raise $600 for my other portion of rent. If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it and I know God will bless you. I can’t wait until that day comes back for me for me to be a blessing to others like I use to be. If anyone is dealing with DV please leave and never look back. Sometimes you lose it all just wanting out. I’m ending this with tears because I never thought this would be my life.. BUT I KNOW GOD HAS THE LAST SAY.
