Many of you have walked alongside our family through different seasons of life, and today we are reaching out as we enter a very difficult one.
Our dad, Kerry, has been diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer, and it has spread to his liver, spine, and lymph nodes. We are still learning what the treatment plan will look like, but it will involve ongoing medical care, chemotherapy, frequent scans, and travel to appointments.
As we move forward, we are grateful for any support—through prayers, encouragement, or kind words. This diagnosis has changed everything for our family, and the care of our community means more than we can express.
In addition to the emotional toll, cancer brings significant financial strain. Although insurance will cover a portion of the medical costs, some expenses fall outside of coverage. We are raising funds to help support our parents with:
- Out-of-pocket medical costs related to chemotherapy, scans, labs, and specialist visits
- Travel to and from treatment, including gas, parking, and tolls
- Hotel stays for early appointments or long treatment days
Our goal is to ease as much stress as possible so our parents can focus on what matters most—treatment, rest, and being together as a family during this time.
