Kerry has been my friend since we were ten years old, and I’ve seen firsthand how much he cares for others. On January 21, Kerry woke up and noticed blood in his urine. What started as a frightening morning quickly turned into a whirlwind of doctor’s appointments and tests. At first, doctors thought it might be kidney stones, but an ultrasound revealed a renal mass. Within days, Kerry was scheduled for a radical nephrectomy, and on February 2, he underwent surgery. The pathology report brought devastating news: stage 4 clear cell RCC. Now, Kerry and his wife Angela are waiting to see an oncologist to determine the next steps.
Angela, who has always been by Kerry’s side, has no paid time off and is currently out of work without pay. This has put a tremendous financial strain on them, on top of the emotional and physical challenges they are facing. The funds raised will help them keep up with living expenses, cover travel costs for medical appointments, and provide a safety net for whatever the future holds. Most importantly, it will allow Angela to support Kerry without the fear of losing everything they have worked so hard for.
Kerry has spent his life helping others, always putting their needs before his own. After years of pain and surgeries, he now faces the toughest battle yet. He is one of the kindest, most caring people I have ever known, and he deserves to receive some of the love and support he has given to others. Please consider donating, sharing, or sending words of encouragement to help Kerry and Angela through this incredibly difficult time.
