Hi, my name is Amber & I'm helping to fundraise for Kerry Peterson. Kerry is my former manager, (favorite) co-worker & friend. I set up this account with help from her boyfriend, Calvin, and at the request of all those at work who love her.

Kerry's Story

While on vacation in Puerto Rico, Kerry was involved in a freak accident that put her in the ICU. A large palm tree randomly uprooted and landed directly on her back, resulting in several serious injuries, including multiple fractures and a spinal cord injury. Kerry is still unable to use her legs and is currently in the ICU, awaiting her return to the states where she will enter an in-patient rehab for 3-6 months. Following surgery, her doctors have given her a 50% chance of walking again, so in-patient rehab is absolutely crucial to getting her back on her feet. Through all of this, Kerry has maintained an exceptionally positive attitude (which is of no surprise to all that know her).

How the Money Will Be Used

It is hard to say exactly how much is needed, but given the extent of her injuries and the time needed to recover, every little bit counts. Donations to Kerry's Gofundme will go towards medical & rehab expenses as well as living expenses to support her during her extended leave of absence.
