Support Kerrie's Long Road to Recovery
Donation protected
My niece Kerrie was hit by a car in AL last Sunday as a pedestrian. She was airlifted to Vanderbilt trauma center in TN. She has a brain bleed, multiple broken bones, and is on a ventilator in ICU.
She had surgery yesterday on her mouth, face, and jaw. She is scheduled for surgery this week on her legs. There is a long road of surgeries, rehabs, and continued care ahead. Kerrie has no insurance that we know of and her family will not be able to afford her care alone. We are asking for anyone who can to please donate or share this post. Also, we want to thank everyone for the prayers and ask that you continue to do so. We will make updates as we can and with the permission from her family. Again, thank you for any help, for sharing this post, and for your prayers.
UPDATE Kerrie has had several surgeries. The surgery she had
Thursday was on her legs and shin. She did spike a fever after surgery. I am waiting for an update for today.
Thank you all for your prayers. They are being felt and answered. Thank you to those who were able to donate. That will help with medical and rehab.
She has a long road ahead of her.
May God bless each of you.
