Support Kerah's Journey to FAMU Success

Hi everyone! I am Kerah Chanel Richards, and I am beyond thrilled to share that I’ve been accepted into Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) as a first year Business Administration scholar. Being able to attend this specific HBCU has been not just a goal, but also a dream of mine and i’m ready to step into this next chapter of my life.

However, i’m experiencing financial obstacles that may prevent me from securing the proper funding for room and board, which is an essential component allowing me to live and study on campus. Although i’ve worked hard at trying to cover tuition through savings, grants, and scholarships, the cost of housing and meals is still out of reach.

I’ve created this GoFundMe to help raise funds that will go directly to my room and board expenses for my 2025-2026 academic school year. Any and every donation regardless of the amount will bring me one step closer to remaining on campus and fully engaging in campus academics, experiences, and leadership opportunities.

My goal attending this HBCU is to graduate with a degree in Business Administration and to use my education to promote upcoming businesses and give back to the community that has helped shape me into who I am today and who I will be later down the line.
