Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my service dog, Kenzo, who recently experienced severe and unexpected complications during what was supposed to be a routine neutering procedure. Unfortunately, complications arose that have now led to serious gastrointestinal issues, and Kenzo now requires additional, urgent surgery to hopefully mitigate the situation and give him the chance to recover.

Kenzo is not just a pet, he is my service dog and an essential part of my daily life and provides pet therapy to soldiers deployed overseas. He provides critical support and assistance, and seeing him in pain has been incredibly heartbreaking. The recommended surgery, hospitalization, medications, and follow-up care are estimated to cost $13,000, which is more than I can manage on my own.

I am doing everything I can to ensure Kenzo receives the care he needs, but I cannot do this without help. Any donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward covering his medical expenses and supporting his recovery.

If we are fortunate enough to receive donations beyond Kenzo’s medical costs, 100% of the additional funds will be donated to a charity that helps families afford life-saving surgeries for their dogs, so your generosity will continue to help other pets and families in need.
