Hi everyone. My name is Kenzie, and I am scheduled to have a laparoscopy surgery on Tuesday, February 24th. This surgery would help me find a diagnosis for health issues and pain I’ve had since I was 12, and help me determine a treatment plan to improve my quality of health. I knew this surgery was going to be expensive and not covered by insurance, but I did not know that the facility fee would be due upon my surgery date. I am unable to qualify for CareCredit, and do not have a willing co-signer. In addition to the facility fee, I will also have to pay anesthesiology, the surgery, and any potential pathology. I know it’s a very big ask, but I would appreciate any help so that I can continue to pursue care. Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
