My mother, Kenzie, has been battling Stage 4 Triple Negative Breast Cancer since 2019. She had a recurrence in 2022, Liver Metastases in 2025, and now brain cancer.

I can only imagine how this recent news of brain metastasis must feel. Doctors have made the decision to do 10 rounds of radiation in the coming weeks.

Everyday tasks have become nearly impossible as cancer has taken a toll on her strength and mobility and several other bodily functions.

Moving forward, Kenzie will need a massive amount of help to unburden the pain medically and financially to make a difference with her quality of life.

Unfortunately, as the medical expenses add up, she simply can’t afford this. She will need help getting around safely, attending appointments without struggle, and continue caring for herself with dignity. An electric wheelchair or a transport chair would be helpful for her caregivers to get her around the house. And a power lift recliner is necessary for getting up and down.
