Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to ask for help with something very close to my heart. My aunt and her husband have been fostering a sweet little girl named Kenzie for the past year and a half. She’s only 3 years old, and in that time, she’s come to know them as “Mommy” and “Daddy” — because that’s exactly who they are to her.

Now, they finally have the chance to adopt Kenzie and make her a permanent part of their family — but there’s one last hurdle: $5,000 in legal and adoption-related costs. We have until July 1st to raise the funds, or the opportunity to finalize the adoption could be delayed, putting more uncertainty into Kenzie’s young life.

My aunt is a full-time nursing student, working full-time, and doing everything she can to build a stable future for her family. Her husband is currently living in another state to support her educational journey, and they are doing everything they can to keep their family strong during this time.

They have loved Kenzie since day one, and she’s never known another home. The only thing standing between her and a forever family is this financial barrier — and we can change that.
