My name is Kent Adubal, and I am 29 years old. Earlier this year, I was diagnosed with Stage IV colorectal cancer with extensive metastasis to the liver and numerous scattered pulmonary nodules, suspicious for lung metastasis.The news was devastating and completely unexpected. For a while, I ignored the pain, thinking it would pass, but in January, my health took a turn for the worse. I couldn't eat or drink without getting sick, and a trip to the ER changed everything. What we thought was a gallbladder issue turned out to be cancer. I underwent colostomy surgery after a bowel obstruction caused by a tumor in my colon. Over the span of a month, my condition required several emergency room visits and multiple hospital admissions. Soon afterward, I began chemotherapy treatments without delay.

I have insurance, but it doesn’t cover all of my medical bills. With my stepdad retired and my mom and my fiancé as the only ones working, we are doing everything we can, but the financial strain is overwhelming. I don’t want to be a burden to my family, yet the cost of treatment is more than we can manage on our own. Any support would mean the world to us during this difficult time.

I'm doing my best to stay positive and strong, believing that everything happens for a reason. I'm reaching out for help because every bit of support will make a difference in my fight against cancer.
