Hi, I'm Pastor Anita VanBuskirk with Kenton Full Gospel Church.
Dear friends and community,
We want to share an important update and be fully transparent with you.
The Food Pantry area, which has its own separate furnace, has been inspected and we were told the heat exchanger is defective. For safety reasons, that furnace cannot be repaired and must be fully replaced in order for the Kenton Full Gospel Bread of Life Food Pantry to continue operating.
At the same time, we want to be honest that the church furnace itself is also not in the greatest shape. Because of this, we must carefully and prayerfully decide how to spend our funds wisely to keep the church open and operating.
If we are not able to afford a furnace for the Food Pantry, we will not be able to continue operating the Food Pantry, especially during the winter months. This is not a decision we want to make, but safety and stewardship are responsibilities we take seriously.
If you feel led to help in any way—through a donation, sharing this post, or praying with us—we would be deeply grateful. Every gift helps and goes directly toward keeping the Food Pantry open and serving families in our community.
Thank you for your understanding, your prayers, and your continued support. We are trusting God to guide us and provide during this time.
We are estimating between $8,000- $10,000
With gratitude,
Pastor Anita
