I have created this GoFundMe to help provide support for my dearest friends Kent and Staci (Ayers) Davidson, both Plano Senior High graduates. Asking for help is never easy, but life's challenges have left them needing support during this very difficult time. Kent was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma Esophageal Cancer (stage 4) on 9/12/24. Since then, he has been undergoing chemotherapy and had an esophagectomy to remove the massive tumor and affected lymph nodes.

Even though the treatments and major surgery have been extremely difficult, he continued to work his full-time job in order to support his family as the main income provider. Unfortunately, this has taken a toll on his recovery and healing. His medical team has urged him to step away from work to focus on his health. Kent has worked for a small business for 15 years that does not offer any benefits. Kent has made the very difficult decision to file for Social Security Disability. There is a 5-month waiting period once approved. With a decrease in income and the mounting medical bills, I am asking for help to support them financially over the next 5 months. This will allow peace of mind, so that they can focus on healing without financial stress.
