Hello, Andrea and I are two of Ken’s Team Phoinix teammates. We started this fundraiser on behalf of Ken, his wife Traci, and their family.

Our friend Ken was recently involved in a serious motorcycle accident, and it is currently unknown how long his road to recovery will take.

In addition to being a great friend, loving husband, father, and grandfather, Ken has been a huge part of the powerlifting community for at least 20 years.

Ken is a fierce competitor, supportive and valued teammate, as well as an outstanding coach. He’s shown up and supported many of us and now needs our support to help get him through this tough season.

Ken has multiple broken bones and had several successful surgeries. At this time, Ken is unable to be moved back home and is hospitalized several hours away from home. Sadly, Ken was unable to keep his legendary beard intact due to the accident and subsequent surgeries; we’re pretty certain that having his beard shaved off will be the most upsetting part of his ordeal.

Ken’s recovery will take some time and we want to ensure that he and his family are taken care of so that they can focus on healing and recovery. Please consider donating whatever you can to help support Ken and his family.
