Support Ken's Lifesaving Treatment

Hi everyone,

I have known Ken Bland for over 35 years and want to start a GoFundMe on his behalf as he battles his second round of cancer. Ken is known for his humor, kindness, optimistic spirit and love for his family (his wife Sheri, daughter Joy, and son KJ).

In July 2023, Ken was diagnosed with ampullary adenocarcinoma, a rare GI cancer, after a malignant mass was found near his pancreas. Following extensive surgery, hospitalizations, and chemotherapy, he was declared “clear” for over a year. Unfortunately, in June, the cancer metastasized to his lungs, lymph nodes, and possibly his liver, putting him at stage 4. He has begun palliative chemotherapy, but the prognosis is grim. We believe in the power of prayer and healing.

Ken is also seeking treatment from a functional oncologist to boost his immune system and mitigate chemotherapy side effects. They are pursuing a cutting-edge personalized peptide immunotherapy called Neo7 Bioscience, which targets his exact cancer cells and retrains the immune system. Unfortunately, this treatment is not covered by insurance, which only covers standard chemotherapy.

It would be a huge blessing to Ken and his family for us to raise as much of the $100,000 cost of this lifesaving treatment as possible. The immunotherapy alone costs $80,000, and additional expenses for testing, lab fees, and supplements will also need to be covered. This individualized therapy has a high change of success for him to enjoy more life with his wife and children.
