Ken, my husband, began experiencing serious health issues in January of 2026. Things took a turn for the worse on March 27, 2026, when he was admitted to Jefferson hospital with an abdominal aortic aneurism. While in the hospital, Ken also developed a blood clot in his leg. He underwent surgery, but unfortunately, complications arose and he needed an additional operation that required opening his abdomen. This has been an incredibly difficult and frightening time for both of us as we navigate his recovery and the uncertainty that comes with such serious health challenges.

The financial burden has quickly become overwhelming. The hospital bills are mounting, and Ken requires expensive medications as well as further testing to determine the degree of heart disease he is facing. We are doing everything we can, but the costs are simply more than we can manage on our own. Every day brings new challenges, and we are reaching out for help so Ken can get the care he needs to recover and regain his strength.
