Support Kenny's Recovery After Severe Accident

My brother was ejected from his Suburban on the night of July 12 just outside of Wildorado, west of Amarillo, Texas, in an unfortunate, single-car rollover accident. He was with his girlfriend and four of their children. Everyone besides Kenny, the driver, my big brother, walked away with minimal injuries.

Kenny, 46, is a devoted father, uncle, grandpa, and brother. He's a mechanic by trade, therefore not making a high salary, and at this point, we're unsure if he has health insurance.

He was life-flighted from the wreck about 30 miles to a Level 2 trauma center in Amarillo. Today (about 24 hours after the wreck), he's intubated, sedated, has a broken hip, broken collar bone, pelvic fractures, and a small brain bleed. He has pelvic/hip surgery tomorrow (Monday, July 14).

We estimate the life flight alone to be around $30,000, plus the out of pocket costs for surgeries, two-weeks in intensive care units, physical therapy (in-patient and out), and at least two months before he's able to walk again. We think he will need much, much more, but until we know whether or not he has medical insurance (likely not), we don't want to ask for more than we need.

My name is Morgan. I'm organizing this on behalf of my brother, Kenny, and his children, Lily, 8, who was in the Suburban with him and is okay, and Katie, 25, who will be greatly affected by his loss of support (financially and physically) over the next several months. He is consistently in the lives of his daughters, is a hard worker, and a man of God, attending Family Life Church in Amarillo most recently.
