Support Kenny's Journey

My name is Sarah Armijo, a friend of Ken and Sara Triphan. My husband Lance has worked with Kenny for the past seven years and our family had the pleasure of attending their wedding. Anyone who has worked with Ken knows he is one of the most caring and generous people you could meet. He uses his decades of HVAC knowledge to help anyone who is in need. Ken is an extremely talented musician and has worked in the industry for decades as well as supporting local talent in the recording studio.

Ken was diagnosed with NASH (a non-alcoholic form of liver disease) over a decade ago. During this time he has traveled to and from the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ to receive care. Recently Ken's liver numbers were evaluated and found to have significantly decreased. What this means is that he has now received approval for a life-saving liver transplant which needs to be done as soon as possible. Ken will be taking a leave of absence from his job at Temp Right Service as he is required to reside within 2 hours of the Mayo Clinic while waiting for a donor organ to be found.

Ken and Sara are devout Christians and are very active at church. They have been a helping and healing hand to many people. Sara works as a Para-Professional at Hellgate Elementary School where she dedicates both her heart and spirit to assisting young children through their struggles. Sara is loved and adored by the staff, students, and especially the children in her direct care.

Ken’s wife and primary caretaker, Sara, will join Ken in Phoenix once the organ is found. She will be staying with Ken during the 4-6 week post-surgery recovery time.

Every dollar and prayer will be appreciated as your kindness means the world to this family and mine. The funds raised will be used to support Ken and Sara during this journey and to help supplement their income to cover expenses. We all know how quickly the costs run up for extended stays away from home as well as the cost of rejection medications.
