Kenny and Teresa are raising funds after a very rare series of conditions left Kenny disabled in many areas. He spent the better part of a year in declining health, with a steep decline over the last two months. Kenny then spent the last month in the ICU fighting for his life before doctors were finally able to determine what was happening, diagnose him, and begin treatment. While Kenny and Teresa are incredibly grateful that he is finally home, this ordeal has caused lasting damage and left Kenny facing a long road toward rebuilding his independence and mobility.

Before all of this, Kenny was an active part of the community through local service clubs and his work for the fire department. Kenny and Teresa have also built a successful local business, Scoops, that gives back and invests in the community they love. People know Kenny by his smile, his jokes, and his unforgettable voice. Now, instead of working and serving others, Kenny is relearning how to manage very basic necessities while focusing on daily survival and recovery. The financial strain has been overwhelming. Donations will help cover mounting medical debt from hospital stays, multiple ER visits, and specialists, along with the cost of medical equipment and home accommodations to make their space accessible and safe.
