Hey, my name is Brandi and I have been a lifelong friend to Kenny Godwin for 43 years. Kenny is a 43-year-old resident of Downsville, Louisiana, who was working in Kentucky when he suffered a hemorrhagic stroke. Right now, he is unable to move his right side and cannot speak clearly. He has been moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to receive care at one of the best hospitals, but his journey to recovery is just beginning.

Kenny will need extensive therapy and rehabilitation, and we are not sure how long he will need to stay in the hospital. All of his family is here in Louisiana, and they are traveling back and forth to be by his side as much as possible. This has created a heavy financial burden, as Kenny is unable to work and still has everyday expenses and monthly bills that need to be covered. The funds raised will go directly toward his rehabilitation, daily needs, and supporting his family during this challenging time.
