Hi, my name is Scott and this fundraiser is for my dad, Kenneth West. He was diagnosed with bladder cancer last year. Surgery removed his bladder and prostate, but they didn't get it all and the cancer has recurred. He was set to start immunotherapy coupled with a light chemo tomorrow, but yesterday the financial people informed my mom that Medicade will only pay 80% of the fee, which is $3,000 for every treatment. And we have no idea right now how many treatments will be necessary. My parents have been through a lot and are not sure how they can pay the first treatment, much less the following ones.
