Support Kenneth Knott's Liver Transplant Journey
Donation protected
**Update 10/24/2024 7:38 AM**
He's finally out of surgery and is stable. We aren't able to see him yet but hopefully in a few hours. In the next 24-48hrs we will know if the liver is working okay. We are through the first step and are so grateful. We can't wait for him to wake up so we can tell him, "see, we told you we would see you later!" I would totally give him a 2 liter of dr. pepper with no cup if I could, he deserves it! Happy Thursday everyone! It's going to be a good day!
Dear friends and family,
I'm reaching out to share a heartfelt situation regarding my stepdad, Kenneth Knott. After a challenging battle with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), that had led to cirrhosis, his health took an unexpected turn on October 20th. Today, however, we received life-changing news that he has been matched with a liver donor and will undergo transplant surgery on October 24th.
This is a critical moment for our family, and while we are filled with hope, the financial burden of medical expenses, post-operative care, and recovery is daunting. We are asking for your support to help alleviate some of these costs. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in Ken's recovery journey.
Thank you for your kindness, love and support during this challenging time. We are grateful for every prayer and donation as we navigate this together.
All donations will go directly to Ken and Jackie.
With heartfelt appreciation,
