Support Kennedys road to Reacovery

Hello everyone, my name is Kate and I’m hoping to raise some money for one of my best friends Liz while she is dealing with the most difficult thing a mother can ever go through.

Liz’s daughter Kennedy was rushed to the hospital after a visit to urgent care went terribly wrong. At the Irvine ER Kennedy got diagnosed with Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome (MIS-c) a condition where multiple organs start to shut down, brought on by a previous Covid infection. There her condition quickly escalated and she had to be transferred to Downey pediatric intensive care unit to be intubated. While some of her organs showed slight improvement, her liver and kidneys are still very compromised. Kennedy again had to be transferred to another hospital in LA where they can do dialysis on her to clear her body of the acid that’s causing all the the issues. As of now we are waiting on the results of the dialysis to see what the next steps of the treatment need to be. Kennedy is still intubated. And it looks as this will be a long recovery road for our Kenny girl, but she is one tough girl and I believe in miracles.

As you can imagine how difficult it is on a mother to see her baby suffer, but thank God she is able to be at her bedside. Liz is a hardworking single mother who is responsible for all the bills and expenses. And now as she is missing work to be with her daughter please help ease some of her worries.
