Support Kennedy’s Journey: A Fight Against A Brain Tumor

Dear friends, family, and compassionate souls,

We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts and a plea for support as our beloved Kennedy faces a challenging diagnosis of a brain tumor that we are still learning about and that has changed her life overnight. Kennedy ended up in the hospital this past week for uncontrollable seizures that she’s never had before to only find out that she has a tumor sitting on her left temporal lobe in her brain. At just 7, she embodies strength, kindness, and an unwavering spirit, but this unexpected hurdle is something no one should have to face alone.

Kennedy should be preparing to enter a new school year in the 2nd grade like every other kid is at this moment but she is instead in need of immediate medical treatment, which includes two upcoming surgeries this week, an angiogram and removal of the brain tumor as well as continuous monitoring and treatment of the new seizures she has and also a long list of therapies after the removal of the brain tumor. That doesn’t account for the treatment she will need after we discover what kind of tumor she developed. Alongside these medical expenses, there are numerous associated costs, such as travel, specialist consultations, and other everyday expenses that have become burdensome during this difficult time.
