Support Kennedy's Dream to Study in Spain

¡Hola!

Firstly, I would like to thank for taking the time to read my story and my request to you, my social media family and community.

Last year, I decided to do something scary and not common. I went back to school after dropping out over 8 years ago. My journey coming back to school has been overwhelming at times, but I always take quiet moments to thank God for this opportunity to come back and finish my degree.

I strive to use my degree to not only better myself, but also my family. If you know me, then you automatically know Nico, my son and Ivan, my loving and encouraging husband. Both of my boys have been the greatest supporters cheering their momma on while giving me the patience I need to study and be successful in school. Words cannot express my gratitude I feel for both of them being here with me throughout this journey.

So, back to The Reason We Are Here. My major, Spanish, is requiring me to study abroad to Spain this summer. Even with all the scholarships I have applied for and all the money I have put aside to save up for this trip, I am a bit short on the tuition costs. I will be gone for over 6 weeks while staying with a host family and the overall costs (including the plane tickets) is $7,400. This experience in Spain is crucial for my language learning experience and I will keep what I learned from my time in Europe for the rest of my life.
