Help Support Kennedy Rae and Her Family

Sweet Kennedy Rae is one of the rarest souls — in every way. In October 2024, she was diagnosed with an extremely rare and aggressive malignant rhabdoid tumor. Her oncologist told us she was more rare than one in a million — so rare, they didn’t even have a number for it. With a survival rate of just 8%, she began a grueling fight.
But we believed God could do the impossible — and He did.
Kennedy endured toxic chemotherapy and, in January 2025, underwent an 11-hour liver resection surgery led by one of the best pediatric surgeons in the country. By God’s grace, we heard the words we had been praying for: she was tumor free. We praised God through tears and clung to hope as she continued treatment at Akron Children’s Hospital.
She remained joyful, radiant, and strong — her story touching lives all around her.
But just when we thought we were through the storm, the cancer returned. Aggressive. Resistant. It grew even during chemo. She began a clinical trial in Akron, our last medical option, but in May, we received the update we never imagined:
Kennedy Rae now has stage 4 metastatic cancer.
It has spread from her liver to her lungs. There are no more curative options.
Now, her care is focused on palliative treatment — keeping her comfortable, joyful, and surrounded by love. Her days are still full of giggles and sunshine — you’d never know her diagnosis — but we know time is short. We don’t know how long we have. Our goal now is simple and sacred: to help Kennedy Rae meet her Savior peacefully, and to give her family the space to make beautiful, lasting memories together.
This fund will support Kennedy Rae’s family in the most meaningful ways:
• Help Mike take time off work to be fully present
• Cover travel and medical-related expenses
• Give their family the chance to take trips, make memories, and cherish these days
• Ease the weight of future costs and uncertainty
We are heartbroken, but not without hope. Please continue to pray boldly — for peace, comfort, and joyful moments that defy the heaviness of this journey. Pray for Kennedy’s siblings, Georgia and Christian, as they walk beside their baby sister with childlike love and innocence. And if you feel moved to give, know that every dollar will give this family time, rest, and love in the moments that matter most.
“I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me.
Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows.
But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”
— John 16:33 (NLT)
Thank you for standing with Kennedy Rae — through every miracle, every heartbreak, and every moment in between. She is a light in this world, and her story is far from over.
We’ve set a goal because GoFundMe requires one, but please know this is not about the number — it’s simply a way for those who’ve asked to offer support during this incredibly hard season.
