Help Kennedi and Her Preemie Twins Recover & Rebuild
Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out on behalf of my daughter Kennedi, a dedicated third-grade teacher in Midland, Texas, who has just gone through the most challenging experience of her life.
Kennedi has had a very difficult pregnancy, battling constant vomiting and severe dehydration from the beginning. On July 22, 2025, she went into preterm labor. Doctors were able to hold it off for two days, but on July 24, she gave birth to her twins at just 24 weeks gestation.
These sweet babies are currently in the NICU at MCH in Odessa, TX, in stable condition — but they will require intensive care until at least their original due date, November 13, 2025.
Unfortunately, Kennedi’s health has taken a severe turn since giving birth. She’s currently battling pneumonia and facing serious complications with her liver and gallbladder, which may require surgery. Doctors are still running multiple tests to find out exactly what’s going on.
To make matters even more urgent, Kennedi had already planned to move back home with family prior to delivery. She gave notice at her apartment and must vacate by July 31 — but she remains hospitalized and unable to pack or relocate. Once released, she will be without a home.
She has no short-term disability benefits through her job and will be without income for the foreseeable future. Her full-time focus needs to be on healing herself and being present for her premature babies.
Kennedi needs help. And fast.
We are raising funds to help cover:
• Temporary housing and moving support
• Medical expenses not covered by insurance
• Travel and food while visiting the babies in the NICU
• Daily living expenses while she’s unable to work
• Future support for her twin babies’ long NICU stay
If you can give, please do. If you can’t, please share and pray.
Kennedi is an amazing daughter, teacher, and now a courageous mother. We are praying daily for her recovery and for her babies to continue growing stronger. Thank you in advance for your love, kindness, and support.
With gratitude,
