Vanessa was a 38 year old beautiful brave soul taken from us far too soon. She gained her wings with her family by her side 1/3/25.

She fought her battle against stage 4 breast cancer with such grace, courage and an abundance of positivity. Once she was diagnosed, she took some time to herself to take it all in. Vanessa and her doctors made an plan and they started her journey. Soon after she starting organizing events and vacations to make memories with her daughter, family, and friends. Nothing could stop her or bring her down. She was enjoying every moment of her life while fighting her biggest battle.

October marked her 5 years of her diagnosis. Through it all she has been so strong. This last year being the hardest on her but she continued to push through any obstacle thrown her way. The only thing that gives us peace is knowing she is no longer in pain.

Vanessa was a speak your mind, live your life with no regrets, caring, funny and all around amazing person. She had a way of making everyone feel included and loved. She was admired by so many and was a true inspiration. She almost always put everyone before herself.

We will never understand why God takes the good ones first. She will forever live on through all the lives she touched and all the wonderful memories we have made with her.

Vanessa was a single mother of a beautiful 14 year old daughter, Kenley. We have created this GoFundMe account to help with any financial stress the family may endure at the time due to funeral expenses and to help them continue to give Kenley the life we know Vanessa would want for her.
