Hi! My name is Sage Brown and I am fundraising for my friend, Kenia, who was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor called meningioma.

Kenia and I met while I was living in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, and we became fast friends. She is warm, selfless, and deeply compassionate — the kind of person who lights up every room she walks into. She recently began her career working with children experiencing disabilities, dedicating her life to helping others despite facing her own challenges. She is easily one of the most kind-hearted people I know.

Her diagnosis has come as a shock to her, her family, and all who know her. The tumor has progressed rapidly and without surgery, her condition will continue to deteriorate. The surgery she needs is urgent and potentially life-saving, but it comes with a high cost — one that her family cannot afford on their own.
