Support Kendra's Mission to the Philippines

Hi Friends,

Last year I had the most amazing opportunity to spend a few days at the Myan village in Mexico. It was here that I was able to interact and pray with the Myan people. I was also involved with the children at a local Christian School where I spent several days interacting with the children. This opportunity brought me a great sense of purpose and a longing to become involved with some type of mission work. In the meantime a friend of mine who is one of the leaders with "World Mission Builders" asked his pastor, another lead to call me and invite me on a mission to Mondragon Samar Phillipines I was asked to attend to help paint the worship center that is being built typhoon proof. This building will serve as the worship center for the village people. I will be the only woman attending, and since I love children, I will also be working to entertain the children while their parents help in the building project. My cost for the trip is 2,500, and I was asked to do my own fundraising. The trip includes airfare, room and board, and full medical. I will also use my own money for incidentals. If you would like to donate to this cause, I would be very grateful. This in no way is a relaxing pleasure trip as I will be working long, hard days 10 to 14 hours a day.
