Support Kendra McCann’s Fight Against Ovarian Cancer
Donation protected
My name is Heather Kenney, and I’m helping Kendra McCann get this GoFundMe page setup.
Those that know Kendra well know that she walked the ugly cancer path with her beautiful Mom, Lisa Mendoza for quite a few years before Lisa passed of this ugly disease in October 2022. Kendra recently learned that she now has cancer, and as of yesterday (1/9/25) just how serious it is. As you can imagine, after watching her Mom go through this, she is quite fearful. She has a VERY strong faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, and she is leaning on God.
Kendra has Stage 2 or 3 (the doctors won’t know until they get in there) ovarian cancer, that has already spread outside of the ovaries. She has a mass outside of her right ovary, with one ovary being the size of a baseball and the other the size of a softball. It has also spread to her intestines/colon. Kendra will be going through surgery at UCSF as soon as they can get her scheduled. The doctor originally thought they would be able to do laparoscopic surgery, until her scans showed the extent of the cancer. She will be having a complete hysterectomy and part of her colon removed. Until they get in there and see what is going on and the extent of the spread, they can’t give her a treatment plan.
Kendra and her husband Jacob have four children. Kendra is now unable to work. Their rent is due, and they have an enormous PG&E bill (who doesn’t living in California?!), and desperately need us to step up and be the hands and feet of Jesus!! I know you hear it all the time, but even if you can only give $5, it’s true, it all adds up and it helps.
Will you please prayerfully give whatever you can to help them out? Kendra has a long road ahead of her, and their financial needs are going to continue.
Either Kendra or I will keep you informed on this journey, and we’re believing in God for a miracle!!!
God bless you and thank you in advance for helping this family out!
