My name is Kendra, and I've spent my life discovering a balance between my passion and involvement in the arts and athletics. My childhood in both basketball and ballet grounded me in the understanding and importance of dedication, technique, and discipline. Fast forwarding thirty years, I find myself having come full circle as a women's college basketball official, a playwright, theatre critic, and educator. And over the past year, I have been training as a Hybrid Athlete.
Two marathons, several races ranging from 5k-half marathons, a HYROX in Berlin, Ironman 70.3 Eagleman, and Ironman Lake Placid just one month away, have only motivated me to continue testing my limits, chase my passion for endurance and strength sport, and inspire the kids and adults I work with every day to live an active, healthy lifestyle, while challenging themselves mentally and physically.
