Hi my name is Kendra, recently my boyfriend and I were in a horrible car accident, after months and months on end of car problems and hassles, I decided to get a rental car and invest in completely fixing my own. On my way to drop off my boyfriend at work, in the rain, the car ended up hydroplaning and we hit the guardrail, causing us to flip upside down and slide into the opposite side guardrail. My boyfriend attempted to prevent me from going into the windshield by throwing his body in front of me. I just remember praying to god and thanking him for the fact that we were simply alive. When the ambulance arrived to assess us and take us to the hospital, I couldn’t help but think, not about my injuries but about how I was going to mentally and financially recover from this accident. My clavicle is unfortunately broken and I have severe bruising on my right eye and cheek. Not only did I have the accident in my rental car but I’m still having to find the funds to fix my personal car, and now the overwhelming medical bills I am going to receive.

I want to say this is the last thing I want to do, but I find that I may not have any other options. I am not one to ask for help but I’m starting to learn that everyone in life needs help sometimes and I am not immune to that.

I want to thank you all in advance for anything you may be able to do to help. Even just sharing this with your friends and family could help me start to dig myself out of this treacherous hole I’ve now found myself in.
