I'm starting this fundraiser on behalf of my friend Amanda and her daughter, Kendra. They were involved in a multiple vehicle crash on Hwy 58 on Sunday evening. They were on their way home when a truck struck a guardrail, crossed into their lane, and hit them head-on. They were then hit from behind by another truck. Amanda and Kendra had to be extricated from their car, and sadly, Amanda didn't survive. Kendra suffered major injuries requiring 2 surgeries to repair some of the damage and once stable enough to be released from the hospital, will have to go to a rehab facility. There was no life insurance policy to pay for Amanda's final arrangements, and Kendra has a long, hard road ahead of her, something no high school senior should ever have to experience. I'm trying to keep this brief and vague, as I want to respect the family's privacy and not share details Kendra and her family don't want shared publicly, as there is a pending investigation surrounding the accident. Please help me get my friend to her final resting place and help her daughter with some of the expenses that are going to need to be taken care of.
